At Four Corners Community Behavioral Health, partnerships are at the heart of how we serve
our communities. This month, we’re proud to spotlight our strong working relationship with the
Emery County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO)—a dedicated team committed to protecting and
supporting residents across the county.
Supporting Crisis Response
FCCBH’s Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) works hand-in-hand with ECSO to respond
when people are in crisis. Whether at the jail or on-scene, our teams collaborate to ensure
individuals in difficult situations receive compassionate care and immediate support.
Training and Education
Our partnership extends to education and training as well. FCCBH provides classes and case
management to inmates, equipping them with tools for recovery and growth. We also train
deputies and staff on de-escalation strategies, mental health awareness, and crisis
response—skills that make a difference in protecting both officers and community members.
In partnership with Price City Police Department, we also provide 40-hour Crisis Intervention
Team (CIT) training, which many ECSO deputies have successfully completed. This training
builds confidence and effectiveness in handling complex situations involving mental health and
substance use disorders.
Recovery and Resources
Together with ECSO, FCCBH supports the Recovery Court Program and other vital recovery
efforts. By providing access to treatment and behavioral health resources, we help create
pathways out of substance use disorder and into healthier futures.
And for anyone in urgent need, FCCBH offers a 24-Hour Receiving Center in Price, available to
individuals in crisis at any time—ensuring immediate help and connection to care.
A Partnership That Matters
We’re grateful for the Emery County Sheriff’s Office and the meaningful collaboration that
strengthens both public safety and community well-being. Partnerships like these show the
power of working together to bring hope, healing, and recovery to our communities.
