Prevention Resources
Our prevention team strives to promote safe and healthy lifestyles by reducing substance use and decreasing risk factors associated with antisocial behaviors. These efforts are driven by community centered evidence based practices. To help achieve this we have fully operating coalitions in Carbon and Grand counties that follow the evidence based Communities That Care and Strategic Prevention Frameworks. These efforts allow us to engage community leaders, members and organizations that all have the common goal of ensuring a safer and healthier community.

C.A.R.E. Coalition
(Carbon, Addiction Reduction, Elimination)
Healthy behavior in youth is a priority goal for the C.A.R.E Coalition. To achieve that behavior we use the Social Development Strategy. SDS is three simple steps, Opportunities, Skills, and Recognition, giving youth the opportunity to develop a skill and then recognize the skill development. This can be anything from learning to wash the dishes to fixing a motor.
The C.A.R.E Coalition believes in Carbon County's resiliency. Through thick and thin, Carbon County has remained a community that supports and empowers its youth. None of the C.A.R.E Coalitions efforts would be as successful if not for its community partners.

1Direction Prevention Coalition
The 1Direction Prevention Coalition enhances the well-being of families, children, and youth in Emery County by fostering connections and community involvement. We are committed to building a healthier, more supportive environment by moving in one direction together. Our mission involves offering resources, education, and advocacy through proven prevention strategies to reduce risks and nurture growth.

DRIVE WITH HOPE: A Partnership for Mental Health
AutoFarm and Blue Diamond GM are proud to partner with the Hope Squad of Carbon, Emery and Grand County and Four Corners Community Behavioral Health to bring hope to our communities through the Drive with Hope initiative.
Each month, a portion of every vehicle sold at AutoFarm Ford, AutoFarm Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and Blue Diamond GM is donated to support Hope Squad of Carbon, Emery, and Grand counties. These support programs play a vital role in suicide prevention, mental wellness education, and emotional safety in our region.
But this program goes beyond financial support—it's a movement to normalize the conversation around mental health and create a culture of care, connection, and compassion.
Here's how Drive with Hope makes an impact:
-
Funds Local Hope Squad that empower our community to look out for one another
-
Spreads awareness through dealership outreach, events, and messaging
-
Changes lives by investing in prevention efforts and resources through FCCBH
Through this partnership, AutoFarm and Blue Diamond dealerships are using their platforms to drive more than vehicles—they're driving change.
"We sell cars, but more importantly, we serve people—and nothing is more important than protecting the mental health and future of our communities."
